Climate Risk Management Studies in Latin America and Africa

The International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) conducts climate risk assessments in 7 countries (Kenya, Niger, Uganda; Dominican Republic, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru) on behalf of UNDP. In each country, we identify vulnerable sectors, conduct a focused risk assessment for one key sector, and identify short- and long-term actions to reduce climate risks. Throughout the process IISD places a lot of emphasis on local-level engagement and participation.
